Texas was hoping to give its home fans as crisp of a performance as they had in each of their last two wins over Oklahoma and TCU. It wasn't quite the sparkling effort the Longhorns had in those two upsets, but behind four touchdowns from running back Malcolm Brown and another defensive touchdown from Chris Whaley, Texas cruised past Kansas, 35-13, to stay in first place in the Big 12.
