What ruins more than a quarter of all diets? According to a new study, it has to do with a night out.
This study by Forza Supplements, a company that manufactures nutritional supplements and weight loss products, found that 26% of people ruin their diets by drinking alcohol. In fact, two out of five drink a thousand calories in just one night.
Not only are they consuming unwanted calories in drinks, but dieters are also more likely to fall off the wagon and eat junk food after they drink alcohol.
Four out of five people said when they drink, they usually end up eating a burger, pizza, or chips due to loss of willpower. Also, half of the 1,000 respondents said that they got hungrier after drinking alcohol.
