Kyle mother charged with giving toddler methamphetamines

Posted: Updated:

A Kyle mother is facing a felony charge after police say she accidentally gave her 2-year-old methamphetamines.

Susan Jackomin, 41, is charged with endangering a child, a state jail felony.

According to court documents, last month Jackomin was home with her 2-year-old son, and he was coughing and crying.

She gave him some medicine from a cup in her cabinet.

When the toddler was still awake at 3 a.m., Jackomin said she realized the cup had methamphetamines in it.

She called poison control, which advised her to take her son to the hospital.
