WATERFORD, Mich. (WJBK) -

Police say a 52-year-old man with a history of driving drunk was nearly three times the legal limit  when he was taken into custody in the parking lot of a Waterford party store.

Pierre Adolph Dietrich was arrested and booked Saturday night after officers responding to a call from a concerned citizen found him in the parking lot of Anthony's Party store on Williams Lake Road and Warringham.

Waterford police say Dietrich's driver license is also currently suspended and he has a history of several prior convictions for Operating Under the Influence of Alcohol.

Dietrich was arraigned on one count of Operating While Intoxicated, High Blood Alcohol Content and one count of Driving While License Suspended. He was given a $15,000 personal bond and released.
