Police Search Intensifies For Man They Call A Predator

Posted: Updated:

"He kept repeating are you trying to get killed? Are you trying to get killed? And I was like let go of me, let go of me," said a terrified 15-year old girl who is haunted by a man in a police sketch. We're protecting her identity as she speaks for the first time about the man she says tried to grab her as she walked to school early Tuesday morning.

"My heart was racing. I was scared and angry at the same time because he was touching me," she recalled. The teen says her attacker approached her from a driveway.

"I kept pulling and I guess he lost grip. That's when I broke loose and ran," said the victim who immediately called her parents after it happened near the corner on the 4200 block of Neilson Street in Juniata Park.

"My mom said I was actually one of the lucky ones because I was able to get away and  he didn't have a weapon," said the relieved 15-year old.

A 20-year old woman we spoke to said a man fitting the same description grabbed her last Thursday morning just after 11:30 as she walked on O Street not far from where the other incident happened.

"He pulled a gun at me and put it to my ribs. At the same time he was trying to drag me towards the driveway," she said.

Surveillance video from a corner bar showed the violent struggle.

"I just kept fighting him and begging him to let me go. I told him I'd give him whatever he wanted. He just said he didn't want anything from me and he just kept smiling and smirking at me," the victim said. Lucky for her a car passing by saw the struggle and slowed down. It scared off her attacker.

"I was scared and I was terrified. I had a million thoughts going through my head. I kept thinking I see this in the news a lot and now I'm really going through it right now. I couldn't believe it," she said.

Police say a third woman was also victimized by the man. That 22-year old was sexually assaulted. Police are still searching for man who they call a predator.
