CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

Police have located a woman with a medical condition who went missing from her northwest suburban Schaumburg home in October.

Beata Candre, a 48-year-old wife and mother, was reported missing from Schaumburg in October, according to a missing endangered person alert from Schaumburg police. Family and police were concerned about her well-being because of a medical condition.

Candre was located Friday in the Chicago area, police said.

Schaumburg police detectives are continuing the investigation into her disappearance.
