Authorities say an Austin man is facing felony charges for stealing lottery tickets from a convenience store in an unusual disguise.
Michael Todd Jones, 48, was charged Wednesday with burglary.
He's accused of breaking into a Chevron Food Mart on Anderson Lane and taking two scratch off lottery ticket cases out of the store.
Court documents say the man broke into the store from the roof.
Surveillance footage from the owner shows a man walking around the store, trying to disguise himself with a "wolf" style mask. But the owners say despite the man's disguise, they still recognized him.
"He's a regular customer. He's always nice, polite. He always appreciates stuff. So I was not expecting," store owner Gopal Pate said.
Court documents say police tracked down Jones by determining where the stolen lottery tickets were attempted to be redeemed.
Police then compared vehicles near the burglary location with the vehicle where the tickets were redeemed.
