School Bans Kids From Quoting Geico Commercial

Posted: Updated:

A popular commercial has gotten some students into trouble! You've seen it a million times: Geico's "Hump Day" commercial.

Well, the ad is no laughing matter at one school in Connecticut. Teachers have banned students from quoting the commercial. In fact, the superintendent says that some boys were impersonating the camel so much that it became disruptive.

The commercial has more than 15 million views on YouTube.

The top comment on the video is by a student, Hailey Lizz. It says, "this is all I hear on Wednesday at school." It seems that it's not just the school in Connecticut that's having this problem.
