CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

Chicago Police arrested three men and recovered more than $1.2 million in narcotics Wednesday night in the Southwest Side Clearing neighborhood, police said.

Raphael Torres, 59, of the 6500 block of West 63rd Place, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and a warrant for an unrelated investigation, according to a statement from police.

Naftali Centeno, 31, also of the 6500 block of West 63rd Place, was charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance, three counts of unlawful use of weapon by felon, possession of cannabis, and a warrant for an unrelated investigation, police said.

Sergey Mordvin, 33, of the 6000 block of North Sheridan, was charged with possession of cannabis, according to the statement.

At Torres' apartment in the Southwest Side Clearing neighborhood, officers recovered 166 pounds of marijuana, estimated to be worth more than $1.1 million, police said. Quantities of crystal methamphetamine, ecstasy and cocaine; four firearms, two of which had been reported stolen; and $44,000 in cash were also found.

Judge Maria Kuriakos-Ciesel ordered Centeno held on a $100,000 bond, Torres on $20,000 and Mordvin on $10,000, Cook County State's Attorney's office spokesman Stephen Campbell said.

All three men are next scheduled to appear in court Oct. 22.
