For many people trying out online dating, the first thing they look at is the picture, but one app wants you to look beyond the looks. "Twine" wants to hook you up with your soul mate, based on personality alone.
It works by blurring out its users faces and listing, instead, mutual interests and then a longer list of various interests.
After you chat with your match for a bit, you can choose to reveal your photo and first name.
The idea is to really get to know the person you're talking to. Twine also enforces that by limiting the number of connections to three a day. That way, people cannot spam or send messages to every user they see.
Other unique features of Twine is gender balancing. It ensures an even ratio of guys to girls.
