It was commuter confusion out on Interstate 66 Monday morning. Drivers heading eastbound towards Washington D.C. wound up seeing their traffic lanes suddenly turn into a mess. Lane stripes somehow pulled away from the road surface and created a mess of tangled tape and lanes that didn't make sense.

PHOENIX -

It's an award you may not have known existed -- the National Truck Driving Champion.

But Phoenix is home to the latest truck driving champ and the first ever woman to hold the title.

Ina Daly stands out amongst the crowd when it comes to truck drivers at Conway Freight.

Not only because she's a woman in a male dominated profession -- but because she's one of the very best behind the wheel of a big rig.

Daly was crowned the first ever female Truck Driving Champion in 76 years of the competition.

Topping the tanker truck division, she'll be recognized with a personalized truck with her name on it, used by the company she works for.

"It's really something to drive a company truck and now my names on it and no one else can drive it. That's really special," says Ina Daly, Truck Driving Champion. "I knew it was a matter of time before a woman won and I was hoping it would be me."

Daly was also presented with a giant check worth $45,000.
