Dozens of dogs saved from shelter need homes

Dozens of dogs rescued from a shelter in West Virginia are small, cute, and in need of homes.

Purrs n' Pups is a New Jersey-based organization that rescues puppies and older dogs from being euthanized at animal shelters around the country. The group rescued 61 dogs from a West Virginia shelter on Sunday night. Every one of the pups was scheduled to be euthanized this Friday. Some of the dogs were picked up and brought to foster homes until they can be fully adopted.

Jennifer Adams, who started Purrs n' Paws 10 years ago, said shelters throughout the country are too full and therefore many dogs get put down.
