September is a wonderful time. People are going back-to-school, new schedules and new beginnings are on the horizon. This is a great way to incorporate a new regimen such as healthy snacks.

The following recipes are easy and fun to make. They will engage kids while encouraging them to choose healthy foods. Kids love fun and interactive actives while parents and guardians love the structure.

The following recipes will help both children and parents in the kitchen. Along with healthy eating, parents can incorporate skills like following instructions, counting, fractions, patterns and colors. The treats are fun and it is wonderful for kids to show ownership of what they created.
