Taylor holds Annual Patriot Day Parade to remember the fallen

Posted: Updated:

Central Texans are remembering the fallen 12 years after the worst terrorist attack in our nation's history.

Twelve years later and emotions still run high, as the people of Taylor remember those who died in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania.

Earlier Wednesday evening, Taylor held the now Annual Patriot Day Parade. The parade featured members from across Central Texas law enforcement, emergency responders, military and the patriot guard. Color Guards and pipe and Drum Corps were also in attendance.

The parade ended at Heritage Square Park. The Taylor Fire Department raised the flag and held a moment of silence.

Wednesday night's program was put on by the city of Taylor and the Taylor Professional Firefighters Association
