The latest drug fad is the abuse of "Molly," a form of the party drug ecstasy.

At least two people died of an apparent overdose last weekend of the drug during the Electric Zoo Festival on Randall's Island.

From Miley Cyrus to Kanye West, the drug has been glamorized in music by some of the world's biggest stars.

Popping a "Molly" makes you feel happy and sexy, but experts say just one dose can mess up your brain for life.

"It makes it seem like it's easy and fun and is going to increase your pleasure. In some ways it is the perfect party drug, but the underbelly of this drug is that it can mess up your head. It can foul up the way your neurotransmitters respond. It can mess up the temperature of your body which is what leads to the most deaths, said Dr. Mitch Rosenthal, founder of Phoenix House.

To make matters worse, 'Molly' is often cut with other drugs.

"Drugs run in a cycle of popularity. Molly has become popular. I think the perceived risks of marijuana use has gone down and the use of marijuana and molly go hand in hand," said Dr. Rosenthal.

During the first two days of the Electric Zoo music festival, two concert-goers died, according to Fox 5 News.

A total of 19 hard-partying attendees were sickened, reported the NY Post.

The ill were reportedly treated in private tents and private ambulances without notifying the NYPD.

20-year-old Olivia Rotundo of Providence, R.I. was taken to Metropolitan Hospital where she was pronounced dead at 9:30 Saturday night. She was a student at the University of New Hampshire.

23-year-old Jeffrey Russ of Rochester, N.Y. was pronounced dead at Harlem Hospital at 3:00 a.m. Sunday. According to his Twitter page he was a recent graduate from Syracuse University.

A 28-year-old from Elmont, L.I., is reportedly on life support with kidney failure, reported the Post.
