Digital detox camps for kids developing in Japan

The digital world is always expanding, and being plugged in is almost second nature to many people today. From mobile devices to laptops in bed to computers at work, it seems like we're always online.

But in Japan, digital detox camps for kids are in the works.

Their mission would be to provide an environment where young people who are deemed "internet addicts" can disconnect, take a break and learn how to balance their time online with real life activities.

At the camps, kids would participate in outdoor activities to pull them away from their digital screens. They would also receive counseling in an unplugged environment.
