NOGALES, Ariz. -

A Tucson woman was arrested last week for trying to smuggling narcotics across the border.

Customs and Border Protection officers say that Elizabeth Borquez, 32, was referred to a secondary inspection of her Honda sedan while attempting to enter the U.S. through the port of Nogales.

A drug-sniffing canine alerted to the presence of drugs, and officers allegedly found 15 pounds of cocaine and 4 pounds of methamphetamine from an airbox under the front left fender.

The drugs were worth almost $202,000.

Borquez was turned over to ICE, and the drugs and vehicle were processed for seizure.
