Police: Man armed with meat cleaver robs gas station
Police are searching for a man who carried out a robbery armed with a meat cleaver at an Austin gas station.
On Aug. 14, police say a Hispanic male entered the Conoco gas station at 4607 Loyola Lane and displayed a meat cleaver. He demanded money and then fled the scene on foot.
The suspect is said to be in his late 20s to early 30s, about 5'8" in height, medium build, a thin mustache and medium size goatee. He also has tattoos including one on his upper right forearm and one on his bottom right forearm, both possibly have lettering.
He was last seen wearing a black and orange baseball cap with the Longhorn logo on the front, a long black V-neck jersey with the word "Texas" on the front in Orange lettering, "32" on the front in large orange numbering, "32" on both sleeves in orange numbering, a small orange Nike symbol on the left upper chest area, white undershirt, and blue jean shorts.
