I-676W Ramp To I-76E Reopens After Jackknifed Tractor-Trailer

Updated:
PHILADELPHIA -

The westbound Vine Street Expressway ramp to the eastbound Schuylkill Expressway has reopened.

FOX 29's Steve Keeley is at the scene and reports that the tractor-trailer has been towed from the scene.

Cars on Interstate 676 had been forced for much of the morning to merge onto Interstate 76 West.

The bad news is that major delays continue in the area, now with the added problem of the heavy rainfall. This incident had caused the entire length of the Vine Street Expressway to crawl back to the Ben Franklin Bridge.

Your alternate route is Market Street, FOX 29's Kacie McDonnell reports.
