Two sisters think they are getting help from some good Samaritans, but in reality it was a kidnapping and for one sister a sexual assault
The two had been drinking on 6th street and were trying to get to their car but lost their keys and cell phone.
Travis County Sheriff's deputies say Johnny Andrade, 22, Destin Edinborough, 22, and George Gabino, 20, offered the women a ride. They've since been charged with aggravated kidnapping and aggravated sex assault. Gabino is the only one not in custody.
Instead of going back to their hotel as requested, the women say they ended up off Imperial Drive in eastern Travis County. The older sister was able to get out of the car. The younger sister says she was sexually assaulted in the backseat of the car and told investigators one man cut her face with a knife. By the time they dropped her off, the younger sister had gone for help. A neighbor called 9-1-1 and the two were taken to a local hospital to be examined.
"You can't trust strangers unfortunately. never trust someone and don't get into their vehicle if you don't know them," said Lisa Block, Travis County Sheriff's Office.
Anyone with information on George Gabino's whereabouts is asked to call the Travis County Sheriff's Office.
