The 19 Arizona firefighters who tragically lost their lives last month are being remembered tonight in Austin.
A ceremony was held this evening at Mesa Rosa on FM 620. The idea is to help the 19 families of those first responders who paid the ultimate sacrifice fighting wildfires in Arizona last month. To help raise the money, a fully operational fire truck from the Sam Bass fire department was raffled off.
"Our goal is to raise $10,000. We've raised about $6, 200 so far. We've got a week left so we're really trying to make our last stretch count," said Adrienne Kolly
All the proceeds will be given to the Prescott Firefighter Charity.
