Austin Police have arrested the three men they believe committed eight aggravated robberies within seven hours of each other on July 27.
All black men under the age of 20, Derrick Williams, Frank McMarion and Deondre Flanagan were convicted of Aggravated Robbery with a Deadly Weapon - a first degree felony.
According to the arrest affidavit, Austin police say one of the robbers confessed to committing the crime when taken into custody.
These men were described as violent robbers that not only held guns on people to get what they wanted, but punched and assaulted their victims. Austin police said the robbers approached people as they got out of or into their vehicles.
Police said the three robbers targeted parking lots and stole items including purses, credit cards, wallets and technology.
