APD connects three bank robberies

APD has linked three separate bank robberies to one alleged suspect.

The most recent robbery took place in San Antonio, where the suspect was described as a heavy-set white male, approximately 6 feet tall, wearing sun glasses. The alleged suspect is bald with dark hair on the sides of his head and a dark goatee.

The first robbery took place on May 3, when the suspect entered Prosperity Bank off Research Blvd. and demanded an undisclosed amount of cash. He was seen on foot wearing a dark blue jacket and jeans headed southbound on Jollyville Rd. No injuries were reported.

The second robbery took place on May 31, when the suspect entered Northstar Bank of Texas in the 1500 block of West 35 St. This time, the suspect displayed a weapon and demanded cash. No injuries were reported and the suspect left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect was described wearing a white T-shirt and jeans, a beige baseball cap with "United We Stand" on the back.

This case remains under investigation by APD Robbery detectives.
