PHILADELPHIA -

The body of 18-year Dan Tadrzynski was found in the Neshaminy Creek Thursday afternoon. His friend, 17-year-old Perry Krewson was found around 8:48 p.m on Thursday near where Dan was found.

It was Krewson's uncle who found Dan as he searched the creek in a kayak at around 11:40 a.m. this morning. Authorities say Dan's body was partially submerged in an area that was searched yesterday.

"That area was submerged. It was much higher. I was just looking at the watermark today and that water was a lot higher. He would've been totally submerged, unable to be detected by our folks yesterday," explains Fred Harran, the Bensalem Public Safety Director.

Yesterday, the rescue efforts shifted down to Newport Park after Dan's cell phone was traced to the area.

"He had a waterproof case. The cell phone was still activated, according to Sprint, so that's why we moved our apparatus further down the river..the creek," says Harran.

These two young men, recent graduates of Bensalem High School have been missing since Monday night. Another young man, a 17-year old, accompanied Perry and Dan down to the swollen Neshaminy Creek around 10 p.m.

The waters were rough.

By 10:30 p.m., the 17-year-old called 911. He was the only one who made it out.

Dive teams from Philly, Upper Southampton and Northampton scoured a 15 mile area from the Neshaminy Creek to the Delaware River. Pennsylvania and New Jersey State police along with the Coast Guard joined the search too. They even brought in blood hounds to search the banks after one teen's cell phone was tracked to Newport Park.

Perry was scheduled to leave for United States Marine Corps Training on July 24th, 2013.
