Five-Year-Old Saves Mom

Posted: Updated:

A five-year old Michigan boy is being called a hero, after he saves his mom when she started having a seizure.

His name is Demonte Reilley, and he called 911 when he saw his mother, Akua McClain, having trouble.

Little Demonte knew exactly what to do when he called 911. He told the operator what happened, his mom's age, her medical history, their location, then stayed on the phone until help arrived.

"She said something was coming to help my momma," Demonte recalls what the operator told him.

"I just said, 'Baby I love you so much.' He said, 'No mommy, I love you.' and I just said, 'You are my superhero.' He said, 'I know,'" recalls Akua.

Mom was treated at the hospital and released and is now recovering.
