Montco DA Risa Ferman Discusses Cyberbullying Manual

Posted: Updated:

Our children spend a great deal of time in school and with their peers, but for many kids, that time isn't always pleasant.

Surveys find that as many as half of all children are bullied at some time in their school career and for some kids, that bullying happens on a regular basis.   That bullying may take place face to face, but a lot of modern day bullying is done via the Internet.

One county in Pennsylvania has made it a priority to put an end to bullying.

This morning, Montgomery County District attorney Risa Ferman joined Mike and Sheinelle to talk about what her county is doing to combat bullying.

The Montgomery County Cyberbullying/Bullying Task Force has released a manual that provides parents, teachers and students with tips on how to prevent bullying.

Watch the interview and then download a copy of the manual here.
