Decatur mom shares birthday with 3 children

Posted: Updated:
DECATUR, Ga. -

A Decatur woman is celebrating the birth of her third consecutive child to be born on her birthday!

Taylor Manigo, and her husband, Demetrus Broughton, welcomed their sixth child, DeAngelo, on Wednesday.

"It's amazing because I didn't really think I was going to have another child on my birthday," said Manigo.

DeAngelo is the third of Taylor's six children.

"I'm still overwhelmed with just one, OK.  But three on my birthday? I don't know, I don't know,  could be something very special," said Manigo.

DeAngelo came into the world Wednesday night at DeKalb Medical's Women's Center: Taylor's 30th birthday present.

Taylor said that the births were not planned to happen on her birthday.

DeShawn, who is now 8, was due before Taylor's birthday, but came late back in 2005.

Then, DeMarcus, now 2, arrived early, in 2011.

Baby DeAngelo wasn't due until Monday, but he kept moving into the wrong position in the womb and ended up feet-first instead of head-first.

"He was breeched, but he happened to turn around into position, and they wanted to go ahead and take him before he would get back out of position, so that's when I came in and had my labor induced," said Manigo.

So, how does one family juggle four birthdays at once?

"Just going to be one big old birthday party," said Manigo.

Taylor already realized that with four parties, she'll probably never get to take her birthday off. She says that's OK.

"These are my birthday presents.  These are my gifts," said Taylor.

And she never has to forget about forgetting anyone's birthday.

"It's going to be real easy.  Can't forget that day, that was day I was born," she said. "That's a day we will all share forever."

The other three children have January birthdays.
