CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

A Rogers Park man is accused of shaking and assaulting his pregnant live-in girlfriend because he was hungry and wanted her to come home.

Lucas Campuzano, 22, of the 1600 block of W. Sherwin, was arrested Saturday and charged with domestic battery and assault, court records show. Cook County Judge Adam Bourgeois Jr. set his bail at $50,000.

Campuzano's alleged victim, who is nine months pregnant, told police he grabbed her aggressively in the 7200 block of N. Ashland and shook her multiple times trying to get her to come home, according to court records.

She also said he pulled her closer and, using a closed fist, wedged his hand into her pregnant stomach. She said he used a lot of pressure and caused a lot of pain while threatening to injure their unborn child if she didn't go with him.
