July 13: Detroit Frontier BYOB bus tour

Posted: Updated:

Detroit's emergency manager had to cancel his bus tour for creditors, but this weekend, there is another chance to ride along and experience the good, the bad & some hidden gems.

The Detroit Bus Company is offering a special 3-hour tour on Saturday afternoon called "Frontier Anarchy."

Blogger and author, Amy Elliott-Bragg, will be the tour guide.

Event Description: Our ever-popular pre-automotive Detroit historical tour "Frontier Anarchy" is back and bigger than ever. We'll crawl across three hundred years of history on the west side of Detroit! We'll visit churches that predate the city and the ghosts of Detroit's tobacco magnates. Along the way, we'll talk parties and pranks, pioneers and pony carts. Governors and steamboat captains, tobacco magnates and tabloid darlings. And we'll go to the bar.
