"This is senseless to pull up and start shooting," said Aaron Johnson, heartbroken over his brother's death. Terrance, who graduated from Kettering High School, moved away to Arkansas but came home for the summer. Family members say he was an innocent bystander just sitting on a porch on the 4-thousand block of Hickory when he was shot and killed.

"He didn't do [anything] to [anybody]," said Lettica Johnson, the victim's sister. "He loved everybody, he was family oriented. I would appreciate any help to lead to the capture of the person who killed my brother."

Just hours earlier on the 4th of July, Brian Walker, 21, was also shot and killed. He was sitting in a car behind Fast Frank's party store in Inkster when a man walked up and shot him in the head. The gunfire left bullet holes in a nearby house and shattered a car window. Police say the same shooting that killed Johnson also critically injured a woman on Hickory. She's expected to survive. Investigators are working to solve multiple murders with limited resources.

Another murder took place Friday on Harriet. The victim in that case was Vernon Hurts, 27. Saturday, a fourth murder was reported at Beech and Harriet. Rory Claiborne, 30, of Wayne was shot and killed. Police don't have much to go on. So far no arrests in any of the killings.

"Please stop the violence because you're hurting a lot of families," said Jackie Johnson, a cousin of Terrance Johnson. "We're begging and pleading if you have any tips, please tell somebody, please contact the authorities and help us solve this case."
