7 years for daughter gone missing

Posted: Updated:

One Austin mother's mission to find her daughter continues seven years later.
Elizabeth Harris and loved ones spent the day putting up fliers and posters of Roxanne Paltauf.
The 18-year-old was last seen seven years ago today by her boyfriend.
They were staying at the Budget Inn near Rundberg Lane and Interstate-35.
He had told police they got into an argument and she left without any of her things, including her purse or phone.
Austin police reclassified the missing persons case into a homicide cold case last year.
Harris says she knows there is information out there.
"I know somebody has the answer out there and I know if we are diligent enough in what we do, we will find her or find some answers.  Rundberg has cleaned up a whole lot and I would like this one dark image of Roxanne being missing to be off the Rundberg area."
Harris says not a day goes by without someone talking about or blogging about Roxanne.
If you have any information on her whereabouts, please call the APD Missing Persons Cold Case Unit at 512-974-5250.
