APD looking for help identifying possible suicide victim

The Austin Police Department is seeking the public's help identifying a woman found dead in Lady Bird Lake near the Mexican American Culture Center. Investigators believe she may have committed suicide.

The woman was found along the shoreline on June 25.

She is described as a white woman 5'1' weighing 120 pounds. She had shoulder length light brown hair.

When she was found she was wearing a light blue jacket with a hood and zipper, blue jeans and low quarter Doc Martin style black boots.

She also had two tattoos on either shoulder. The right shoulder tattoo said "Fideli Certa Merces" and the left shoulder tattoo said "Semper-Fi."
