GLOUCESTER COUNTY, N.J. -

A Gloucester County mother says she was terrorized by her ex-husband. He is a former New Jersey police officer convicted of stalking.

She was being stalked every day for 6 weeks and she had no idea. Someone was tracking her every move. It turns out it was her ex-husband. Tonight the New Jersey woman speaks out about her ordeal and what other women may need to know.

"I still live in fear. I have no security."

She's a Gloucester County mother of five. We'll call her "Marie" to protect her identity.

"It will always be with me; it will always be does someone know where I'm at every hour of the day," says Marie.

3 months after an amicable divorce, she started getting disturbing text messages from her ex-husband Paul Prince of Mullica Hill. Prince is also a former police officer.

"My ex would know where I had been. That I was out with somebody," describes Marie.

She felt like she was being followed.

"That was bizarre, weird, strange that he knew where I was or where I was going or where I had been."

After contacting the stalking resource center. Her suspicions became fact in a very disturbing way, when a family member found a hidden GPS tracking device installed in the steering column of her car.

"The fear that I didn't even know. I didn't know how long it had been on the car."

Gloucester County investigators say Paul Prince was tracking his ex-wife's every move--to the gas station, to school, even on dates with other men.

Prince accessed the device 522 times in just 6 weeks.

A jury convicted prince of stalking. The sentence: no jail time, but a rare permanent restraining order against him.

Marie wants others to learn from her pain and that's why she is speaking up.

"Being a squeaky wheel," says Marie. "I need a report; I need this documented."

Marie suffers panic attacks and has trouble sleeping. She doesn't have physical scars, but it's equally hard overcoming the mental pain.

"Even with that restraining order, I'm scared to death. I'm scared to be in my own home."

Paul Prince was also sentenced to a year probation and community service. Prince, who declined an on camera interview, says he's appealing his conviction.
