Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

During Hurricane Sandy, East Rockaway High School in Long Island was devastated and students were forced to relocate for 6 months. Now after tragedy the students are back in their school and are being treated to a special prom.

The Midsummer Night's Dream-themed prom in Sands Point was was all made possible by ladies from Rent The Runway: Jennifer Hyman and Jenny Fleiss.

You can rent designer fashions from their website so they treated these juniors and seniors to dresses and shoes. Even the young men wore suits thanks to Men's Wearhouse.

Thanks to senior Molly Bastow, who submitted an essay to Rent the Runway, her high school won this free prom.

The kids got to see special guests: Glee's Darren Criss and American Idol's Jordin Sparks. Both Darren and Jordin performed a few songs for the students.
