Oops! $23,000 Engagement Ring Sold At Garage Sale For $10

Posted: Updated:

A California husband is out of the dog house this morning!

Last week, that man sold a jewelry box at a garage sale.  Unbeknownst to him, inside that box was his wife's $23,000 engagement ring!

The woman who bought the box, gave it to her daughter.  She then realized that she had the missing ring, after seeing a story about it  on the news.

The ring was reunited with the wife, thanks to the refreshing honesty the purchaser's daughter.

The wife, Racquel Cloutier, says she put the ring in the jewelry box last month, before going to the hospital to deliver her baby.

Obviously she is incredibly grateful and the husband is breathing one big sigh of relief.
