Brazen Thief Makes Off With Stolen Jewelry, Detectives Say
Franklin, Pa. -
On Saturday June 8, 2013, the owner of Michael's Jewelers in Franklin stated that a thief came into the store and stole $250,000 worth of Jewelry.
According to detectives, the thief is a dark-skinned, Hispanic male, approximately 5'7", in his early thirties, wearing blue jeans, a dark colored jacket and baseball cap.
At approximately 1:05 PM, the man came in wanting to buy a ring. He waited until the store owner and a fellow employee were busy, and then walked out with bag full of jewelry. He entered what looked like a gold-colored Nissan Altima and drove off.
The Altima was later found to be stolen from Newburgh, New York, police say.
