8-Foot Mako Shark Jumps Into NJ Fishermen's Boat

BRIELLE, N.J. -

What happens when a three-hundred pound shark jumps into your boat? You scream!

That's exactly what two New Jersey fishermen did when this mako shark flew right out of the water and into their boat.

The fishermen were out looking for good shark fishing spots for an upcoming tournament in North Jersey when the shark jumped in.

The two men hid in the boat for two hours until they were able to tie up the shark and head home.

A photo from Hoffman's Marina West in Brielle, N.J., shared a photo of their June 4 catch with the media. It shows Tom Rostron, of Wall Township, N.J., on the left and Clint Simek, of Brielle, N.J., on the right of their shark.
