Police investigate death of a baby in the Bronx

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

Authorities are investigating the death of a 4-week old baby in the Bronx Saturday morning. 

Police say they were contacted by officials from North Central Bronx Hospital around 9:50 a.m. that the baby was brought to the hospital unconscious and unresponsive by his parents. 

The infant, Maximus Mussenden, was brought to the hospital dead upon arrival. 

The medical examiner will determine the cause of death as the investigation is ongoing.
