Container Gardens
Containers are an easy way to dress up your patio, deck or front door for outdoor entertaining this weekend!

  • Choose from an assortment of pre-made container gardens:  Small container garden bowls are perfect for tables and ledges.  Pre-made "drop in" containers are super easy (simply drop in the container garden to an existing pot).

  • Herb container gardens are a must-have by the grill: They look great and you can easily pluck off a few items to use while grilling.  Try mixing thyme into your burgers or throwing a few basil leaves on top of the burger.  Tarragon is widely underused and makes a delicious addition to potato salad.

Stay Cool
Coolers are practical, but aren't the most attractive.

  • Try using a metal or lightweight pot instead.  If there's a hole in the bottom, then you'll want to cover it up.
  • Make sure you have patio umbrellas in your dining set.  You can also use a patio umbrella stand and scatter umbrellas anywhere that you may need a bit more shade.

Organize Your Table with Pottery
Keep your food table tidy and festive by using various size pots for everything from napkins to silverware.

Keep the Bugs Away
There are various types of candle and deterrents to keep the mosquitoes away.

  • Amazon Lights: as a blend of aromatic essential oils from Brazilian andiroba with citronella, rosemary and thyme.  Contain 300% - 500% more essential oils than the majority of citronella products.

The notion of 'Keeping up with the Jones' is not new, but there is a new pressure coming at you. Peer pressure - whether you're 13 or 33 - is a powerful thing. Now throw in social media and you have what an Atlanta counselor calls 'Keeping up with the Jones' on steroids. And if you're not careful that can get costly.
