Goat snarls traffic in NJ

Posted: Updated:

A renegade goat and an auto accident snarled traffic on the Pulaski Skyway in northern New Jersey.

Jersey City Police Capt. Edgar Martinez says it took 90 minutes for emergency services to corral the goat as it ran along the four-lane bridge between Jersey City and Kearny Point Tuesday.

Martinez says while that was taking place, there was also an accident involving four vehicles. Martinez says no one was injured.

Officials are trying to determine where the goat came from.

The landmark Pulaski Skyway traverses the Passaic and Hackensack rivers.  It is a major artery leading to the Lincoln and Holland tunnels that connect New Jersey and Manhattan.

Taxis come in yellow, green, black, and now... hot pink? They're called SheTaxis and they are from a cab service for women by women. (The cabs aren't actually pink, but drivers will carry pink pashminas.)The service is coming to New York this week. You could almost think of it as an all-female Uber.
