office 70 of the 84 members specialize in victim extraction and medical
treatment. They are also bringing heaving equipment and canine teams.
Perry says resources in Texas will remain on alert ready to help.
Austin Fire Department says five of its members have deployed with TTF1. One
member specializes in communications, another in engineering and the others in
team with the Austin Disaster Relief Network leaves Tuesday morning to see what
the needs are. A spokesperson expects emotional care volunteers will deploy
within the next 24-48 hours.
