One after another customers have been coming in all day for a chance to win $600 million. From 3-4 pm Saturday afternoon, the Texas Lottery Commission reported more than $1million in sales alone.
Customers were visiting Everytime Grocery on South Congress throughout the day for their chance to win the big jackpot.
The current jackpot started at $40 million dollars on April 3rd, but after 12 draws without a winner the jackpot has climbed to the $600 million mark with a cash value option that allows you to walk away with about $376 million before taxes and assuming you'd be the only winner.
Since joining the Powerball lotto in 2010, Texas has never had a Powerball jackpot winner.
The odds of winning the jackpot prize are one in about 175 million and overall odds of winning any prize are one in 32.
