PONTIAC, Mich. (WJBK) -

Whether you need a new ride or maybe some new bling, you could fine what you're looking for Saturday morning at Oakland County's spring auction.

A gold '71 Chevelle is the centerpiece of the auction. J. David Vanderveen with the county thinks the car could fetch somewhere between $15,000 and $20,000.

At Friday's preview, there was plenty of tire-kicking and note-taking.

There are 88 vehicles, including lots of police cruisers, to be had at less than retail.

"The police cars, we have a good reputation, our crew does, for maintaining them. So they might have 100,000 miles, but they'll be well-maintained," Vanderveen said.

Items seized by police going on the block include a collection of size 13 Air Jordans, video games, luxury Rolex watches and custom jewelry.

Last year, the auction made $500,000 for the county.

Festivities start at 8:00 a.m. Saturday at 1200 North Telegraph in Pontiac.

Right now the baseball diamond at the old Tiger Stadium is being used by little leaguers and even some vintage baseball teams. But that could change, even before this season is over.
