APD investigates carjacking in south Austin

Austin police are investigating a carjacking in south Austin.

It happened just after 8:30 this evening at 6721 South Congress.

Police say two Hispanic men approached a woman. One had a handgun and the other had a large screwdriver.

Police say they took the victim's car and her cell phone was still in it.

APD used the GPS in her phone to find the car at 4711 Teri Road. There they found three people inside the car in front of an empty house.

Air One is up searching for more suspects.
