Woman suspected of ID theft at several Jared, Best Buy stores

NOVI, Mich. (WJBK) -

Police released surveillance photos of a woman wanted for identity theft at several retail stores across the state, as well as Indiana.

Police say the woman committed the thefts at multiple Jared jewelry stores, including one in April at the Novi Road location, as well as Best Buys in southeast Michigan, west Michigan and Indiana.

Police did not release a written description of their suspect. Instead, two photos were distributed to the media (see photos to the right).

Anyone with information on this woman is asked to call Novi police at 248-347-0546 or Crime Stoppers of Michigan at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
