Police: 1 Arrest After Smoke Bomb Thrown At Rep. Evans' Office

PHILADELPHIA -

Police tell us that they have arrested someone for throwing a smoke bomb at the campaign office of Pennsylvania state Rep. Dwight Evans.

SkyFOX flew over the scene at the state representative's West Oak Lane campaign office, located on the 7200 block of Limekiln Pike.

Earlier this afternoon, a water bottle blew up. Police say it emitted smoke, but no one was hurt.

Evans was in Harrisburg at the time of the incident.

The person in custody was reported to be a 21-year-old male.

We will keep you updated as we get more details.

Police were also reported to be checking out a similar object at a recreation center on the 7200 block of Wilson Street.
