Austin Police expect charges will be filed after a 14-year-old was stabbed overnight.
Sgt. Jeff Ross says officers responded to a 911 call at 12:56 a.m. about a domestic disturbance in the 1600 block of E. Anderson Lane.
When officers arrived they found the teenager with stab wounds inside a unit at the Creekwood Village Apartments. EMS transported the 14-year-old to Dell Children's Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. The teen is expected to be okay.
As part of the investigation police are still working to determine the relationship between the teen and the 37-year-old man who was taken into custody. Sgt. Gross says initially the male subject was not cooperating. He was treated for minor injuries at UMC Brackenridge.
What happened leading up to the disturbance is still part of the investigation.
