PHOENIX (AP) - A Phoenix woman accused of threatening two of her children with a butcher knife on Christmas night 2011 has been sentenced to a year in jail.

Maricopa County prosecutors say 33-year-old Jutrina Tillman also was sentenced Tuesday to three years of supervised probation.

Last month, Tillman pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct.

She was arrested in late December 2011 on suspicion of 2 counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Police say they received a 911 call from a sobbing 13-year-old girl who claimed her mother had a 6- to 8-inch knife and allegedly was trying to kill her and her 5-year-old brother.

The girl told police her mother had been drinking alcohol all night and was getting mad at her brother for playing video games he got as gifts.
