12 years ago, Antonio Sanchez and his cousin, Arizona State University student Mazen Diamond, were both convicted of sexual assault and kidnapping.

Tempe police say Sanchez and Diamond would meet women in Scottsdale or Tempe bars, then lure them to their apartment, where they would drug them with a substance sometimes used to anesthetize dogs and cats.

Then they raped them in their place near ASU, videotaping the whole thing.

One of the victims woke up after the assault and screamed.  That got them busted, but they skipped town.

Antonio made it to Miami Beach.

"As far as his life in Miami, he was arrested at his girlfriend's condo.. it was a beachfront condo, it was beautiful right there on Miami Beach," said Deputy Frederick Freeman of the U.S. Marshals Service.

A couple of months ago, Antonio was out driving in Miami and got a ticket.  He used his alias. Tempe police and U.S. Marshals found out and arrested him Wednesday.

"There was some initial shock, but basically he said he knew what it was about and he didn't have a whole lot to say," said Freeman.

Now he's going to do a whole lot of time.

Police are still looking for Antonio's cousin Mazen Diamond.  Have you seen him? If you have any information about his whereabouts, call Silent Witness.

Tempe police and U.S. Marshals say they will arrest Diamond, it's just a matter of when.
