PHILADELPHIA -

A Chestnut Hill College student suffered multiple injuries Wednesday after falling from a third-story stairwell.

According to police investigators, the student fell from outside of a window of Fournier Hall, a dormitory on campus, around 3 p.m.

The student was taken to Einstein Medical Center, where police say he is being treated for a neck injury. The school has not released the name of the student.

The school says the Philadelphia police department is investigating the fall.
